University of Georgia's Agricultural & Environmental Services Laboratories
- Routine Soil Tests though the University of Georgia for pH, Lime Requirement, Phosphorus, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium,Zinc and Manganese are currently $6.00 / sample.
- Upon receipt, the estimated turnaround time is approximately 2-3 business days.
- Contact your local Georgia Extension office for soil sampling boxes and for additional information or call UGA Lab at (706) 542-5350 or 1-800-ASK-UGA1.
- Crop Codes for Soil Testing
- Soils Test should run the Mehlich I extractant to report phosphorus and potassium.
- Soils Tests should be obtained annually.
- Poultry litter testing at UGA costs approximately $52.00/ sample, Solid Manure Testing costs approx. $75.00/ sample, and Liquid Manure (Holding Pond or Lagoon) Testing is approx. $80.00/ sample.
